Frequently asked questions
Why do I only see an angle unit for some functions?
Degrees vs. radians only matters for trigonometric functions (sin, cos, tan, and their inverses) — every other function ignores it, so the field is hidden when it wouldn't apply.
Why does "power" or "nth root" ask for a second value?
Both need two numbers: the base and the exponent for xʸ, or the value and the root index for ʸ√x. Every other function only needs the one value you entered.
